This story got a laugh from Mirage and Kat last night at Lucky Devil Lounge, so I just wanted to share...
Before heading over to the club for my beloved LEGS NIGHT, I stopped at the grocery store. I was carrying a few heavy bags of groceries out of the front entrance, headed toward the clearly marked crosswalk to the parking lot. I slowed my walk and checked for cars even though as a pedestrian I had the right of way...and spotted an older (maybe 70's) fellow driving my way in a brand new sports car. We made eye contact, so I presumed he was going to stop and let me cross. But as a started to cross, he rolled past within centimeters of my foot!!!
So what do you think I did?? I kicked his car!! HA!
I didn't kick it hard, and in fact I kicked part of the plastic bumper (it was a Dodge Viper) so I know I did no damage.
Of course, pepaw slams the brakes and rolls down his window. "WTF do you think you are doing?! You kick my car again and I'll slap you silly!" he screamed.
"I'd like to see you try!" I replied. "I'm using the crosswalk. You need to stop for pedestrians."
"You saw me coming, you should have just stayed put!" he said.
I was about to put down my groceries and slap a bitch, but fortunately for angry pepaw another guy stepped in saying, "No way. You're the one who broke the law. Slow down and pay attention to the crosswalk."
I don't usually go around picking fights with the elderly, but that gut really got my goat.
Lucky for me I was headed to one of my favorite nights...Sundays at Lucky Devil. We all giggled over it and went on to have a fun night!
