| Just wanted to answer some of the questions that people have been posing since Thursday night's competition. Miss Nude Oregon is a 3 part contest. Contestants must participate in either the prelims or semifinals to move on to the finals. They do not have to do both the prelims and semifinals in order to win. On Thursday night, the MC mistakenly announced (after reporting that there was a 3-way tie) that the winner would be determined by audience applause. This was not correct, the winner was determined by a re-vote after seeing the 3 finalists perform for a 2nd time. Finally, the judges rate the contestants on a number of categories including (but not restricted to) theme, originality, evening gown, poise, and audience applause. Most of the previous winners, including Sasha, Asia, Reagan, Athena and this year's winner Sophia not only had unique and exciting themes but also have extremely formidable pole skills. I am so thrilled that my long-time friend Sophia won this year and I want to thank everyone for coming to cheer for and support the contestants and myself on Thursday night! |
