Question 8
Q: Can I request a song?
A: Well sure…but that doesn’t mean it will be played! Here’s a few pointers that will improve your chances of getting a requested song played: Be polite. Ask the DJ what dancer might like to dance to your request. Then, ask the dancer.
Don’t choose a stupid song. Seriously dude…NO ONE wants to hear a song from some poorly recorded shitty local band. Choose a song that is upbeat and will keep the party going. Songs that are too emo are commonly referred to as “boner-killers” by strip club staff. Save the emotional tunes for at-home listening when your next girlfriend dumps you.
TIP! TIP! TIP!
Duh. You gotta tip the dancer if you want to hear a certain song. Your best bet is to hand her money when you ask for your request. If it is a song she doesn’t like or has never heard of, she’s not gonna dance to it unless you tip her at least a twenty.
Best of luck and happy strip clubbing! The next installment of ROCKET'S LUNCH PAD will also concern music in the strip club. Meanwhile, keep those questions coming!
